Just Entertainment Randomness

By carlyfrankel

I probably should have just named my blog the title of this post… oh well. Let’s get started!

Josh Groban’s the next guest star on Glee

Entertainment Weekly also announced the addition of a new cast member. I’m not familiar with her, so all I can really give you is this link.

Also, here’s a new promo:

The Office Season 5 DVD goes on sale September 8th. Andddd it’s marked on the calendar. Now I just wait and see what nifty gifties each store offers with the DVD set. I shall update here when it comes out… don’t you worry. In the meanwhile, this link provides all of the details released so far. I can’t even explain the love I have for all of the bonus footage they always give us… thanks, Office peeps! (That will never read this.)

NBC Store has their own Twitter account and have been posting previews for the cast bobbleheads… Yes, Dwight & Michael are the only ones released right now, but they’re all coming! We all know who my favorite characters are, so here’s Pam! When more are posted, I will bring them here!

So, I’m dedicating tomorrow’s blog to Sarah Chalke, in honor of her new show, Maneater, but I wanted to bring your attention to another show airing tomorrow night… Pushing Daisies!! Don’t let the fact that the show’s been canceled (::wipes tear from cheek::) deter you from watching the last 3 episodes because I’m sure they’ll be great. Here’s what Entertainment Weekly has to say on the matter. Also? The TV Addict has this nice video of the cast’s appreciation to the fans.

I just wanted to say a giant thank you, Broadway for putting Allie Trimm back on the Great White Way. Check out this Playbill article about her casting in the revival of Bye, Bye, Birdie. I’m kind of surprised she’s playing Kim because I thought the character was older, but to be honest, she could be playing a tree and I’d be ecstatic!  Ms. Trimm was my absolute favorite part of the show, 13, and I could probably listen to her sing the phone book.

Example:

Let’s not even mention the fact that she’s literally 14 years old. Okay, John Stamos, you win! I will now buy a ticket to see your show… oh yeah- and there are some other “names” in this show, so check out the link above to check out the casting.
