Taking a Break…

Hey everyone!

I have mixed feelings about this blog post. I’m really sad to have to write it because I love sharing my entertainment news, BUT I’m really happy that I have to write it because that means I have other things going on. That’s the reality of it right now. I’m really trying to get this career up & running and I’ve been pretty busy doing that lately, which was why the posts have been taking longer & longer to update. So, I’m going to be taking a break with this blog. However, I will still be updating my career blog every night and when I read entertainment news throughout my days, I will definitely re-tweet them, so you can follow me on Twitter. Also, you can still see my page if you’re not on Twitter yourself. They’re good like that. Anyway, thanks SO much to everyone for their support!

Let’s throw this out there… it’s pilot season. Networks are picking up pilots left & right and through the magic of Twitter, they’re getting announced just as often. However, since I’ve been a tad busy the past few weeks, I haven’t been able to stay updated with the newest info & all of the pilot news. I usually like to stay MORE informed, but such is life. So, I’ve posted some tidbits here from what I’ve gathered, but this is definitely not all of them. Hopefully, when some comprehensive lists become available, I will get them and post them for all to enjoy! In the mean time, check these out!

The video below is from the UK’s version of SYTYCD so it never aired on our TV, but I found it online and it’s freakin’ awesome! Like, beautiful and great and awesome. Yes, totally worth using that word twice… enjoy!

Since Variety has said it, it’s true: Conan treats are now collectibles. Hmmm- good thing I picked up some items @ the NBC store during his last week. Whew. I also took this picture of his window at 30 Rock. Sighhhh.

Last but not least… here’s Vanessa Marcil’s new web series, The Bannen Way. I’m going to watch all the episodes one day this week, but since I’ve never NOT liked anything she’s been involved in, I’m going to throw caution to the wind and say you should watch it. It’s most likely great. We ARE talking about Vanessa, here

More Ausiello Scoop, Conan, & some Hulu news

Guess who has some more spoilers/scoop on tons of shows? Michael Ausiello @ Entertainment Weekly! Who’d you think it was? Me? I have no connections, silly. Although the reports say that the official deal will be published later today, this is what we have so far on Conan’s deal to leave NBC. Boo, I say. I big, giant, BOO.

LA Times reports (if you just click here to read the entire thing) that Hulu will soon be charging to view some of their shows… that are older than the 5 newest episodes. I have to be honest… I kind of get that. Even though I watch TV like a crazy woman, I have gone to Hulu to catch up on some shows (Community, I’m looking at you!) and I can understand them needing to charge for something- and that 5 episode gap seems fair to me. I mean, nobody ASKED me, but still. That’s what a blog is for, right?

Glee, Conan, ABC… ahhhh!!! More links!!

In this order: Private Practice, Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS, House, The Office, Desperate Housewives, Fringe, Criminal Minds, Cold Case, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Greek, Gossip Girl, Heroes, Glee, HIMYM, Nip/Tuck, Lie To Me, Numb3rs, Friday Night Lights, Nurse Jackie, Vampire Diaries, Big Bang Theory, & Bones. Also, according to one of his tweets, the fourth season of Friday Night Lights will debut on NBC Friday, April 30. Woohoo!!!

People.com has some info on Glee including info on the upcoming open casting call ( I am SO there.) and Will & Emma… and you know, some guest stars like, I don’t know IDINA MENZEL Not enough Glee? Okay, how about some Entertainment Weekly videos from the cast? Fine… here are some new pictures of the cast we all know & love!

Three of my favorite new shows have been renewed!! Yay for ABC!! Can’t wait for season 2 of Cougar Town, Modern Family & The Middle!!! On the topic of Cougar Town, they’ve also made an awesome casting announcement here! Now, if they could just renew Scrubs & add it to that line-up & keep Ugly Betty on afterwards, it would just be delightful. Oh yeah- I also have some Ugly Betty scoop for ya, thanks to EW!

Alert! Alert! One of my faves, Jenna Fischer, is most likely going to be in another movie! Although I don’t think it’s been confirmed yet, there have been a bunch of articles about her possibly co-starring in a new Farrelly brothers comedy, which makes me beyond happy. I’d love to see her on the big screen again… especially in a pretty big role. Obviously, when I get more information, I’ll post here.

Okay, so I’m not really going to get into this on my blog because it’s this long & involved thing with 6 billion links & articles, but if you read anything about entertainment, I’m sure you know about this whole mess with Leno & Conan. I’m only mentioning it here because I wanted to post NBC’s Post-Leno schedule, but just for the record, I’m totally Team Conan. I interned at Late Night in college and loved everything about that show. Here are 2 fun pictures from that time:
